Templates

We provide a range of templates for leaflet sizes, folding styles and print layouts to help you prepare artwork correctly.

Using the correct template ensures your artwork is set up to the correct dimensions, fold lines, bleed areas and safe zones for professional printing.

Accepted File Formats

To achieve the best print quality, we only accept print-ready artwork supplied as PDF or TIFF files. PDF is preferred.

Professional design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDRAW and QuarkXPress can export high-resolution PDF files suitable for commercial printing.

Please avoid JPEG artwork because compression can reduce print quality and cause blurred images, pixelation or colour inconsistency.

Colour Settings

All commercial print artwork must be created in CMYK rather than RGB. RGB is intended for screens, while CMYK is designed for professional print production.

• Create artwork in CMYK colour mode
• Convert imported images to CMYK
• Set black text to 100% black only
• Avoid RGB colours in final artwork

We do not offer Pantone or spot-colour matching within standard full-colour printing, although many Pantone colours can be closely matched with CMYK equivalents.

Image Resolution

Professional colour and grayscale images should be supplied at a minimum resolution of 300 DPI at final print size.

Images taken from websites or social media are usually 72 DPI and may appear blurry, soft or pixelated when printed commercially.

• Use high-resolution original images wherever possible
• Avoid screenshots or downloaded web images
• Supply logos and graphics as vector files where available

Fonts, Text & Artwork Layers

To avoid font issues or unexpected formatting changes, all text should be prepared before final file submission.

• Keep text at least 5mm away from page edges
• Convert fonts to outlines, curves or paths
• Flatten design layers before export
• Check and embed transparency effects correctly

Bleed, Trim & Safe Areas

Bleed is required whenever colours, images or backgrounds extend to the edge of the finished item. Because commercial print is trimmed after production, slight movement can occur during cutting.

We require 3mm bleed on all sides. For an A4 leaflet, the finished size is 297mm x 210mm. With bleed added, the artwork document should be 303mm x 216mm.

Important text, logos, contact details and key imagery should remain at least 5mm inside the trim line.

Cutting Tolerances

Commercial trimming equipment is accurate, but minor movement during cutting is normal. Avoid tight borders, keep critical design elements away from edges and use balanced margins wherever possible.

Artwork Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring supplied artwork is accurate, proofread and approved before printing. Artwork supplied will be printed exactly as received unless amendments are requested.
