Leaflets
Overview

Structured information in a format people can keep.

Leaflets are useful when a flyer is too brief but a booklet would be too much. They can introduce a service, explain product benefits, support a campaign, list key information or provide a compact sales document for meetings and events.

Fold choice matters. A simple half-fold may suit a clear service overview, while a roll fold or Z-fold can guide the reader through a sequence. We help plan the layout so each panel has a job and the finished piece opens naturally.

We can create leaflets from supplied artwork or develop the full design, copy structure and print-ready file. The goal is a piece that is easy to read, visually consistent and useful after the first glance.

Typical requirements

  • Flat, folded, roll-fold and Z-fold options
  • Service, product and campaign leaflets
  • Panel-by-panel content planning
  • Artwork checks for fold and trim accuracy

What we plan before print.

Every format has its own practical considerations, so the artwork and production route are set up around the job itself.

01

Inform

Give customers enough detail to understand the offer without overwhelming them.

02

Guide

Use folds to control the order in which information is discovered.

03

Support

Pair leaflets with exhibitions, mail campaigns, sales packs and product samples.

Production Notes

Artwork, material and finishing need to agree.

Folded leaflets need careful setup. Text, logos and key imagery must sit safely away from folds and trims, and panel order must be checked before print.

We review practical details such as orientation, paper weight, folding direction and whether the finished piece needs to fit an envelope or display stand.

Fold and format guidance

  • Bi-fold leaflets are simple and clear for service overviews, price lists and compact sales material.
  • Tri-fold and roll-fold leaflets are useful when information needs to unfold in a controlled reading order.
  • Z-fold and concertina folds work well for timelines, step-by-step explanations and product ranges.
  • A4 folded to DL is a common format for envelope-friendly mailers, menus and information leaflets.
  • Artwork must be checked against the folding style so panel order, fold direction and safe areas are correct before print.

Before we produce

  • Check final size, bleed and safe areas
  • Confirm paper, finish, quantity and deadline
  • Review image quality and colour setup
  • Agree delivery or collection requirements
